We use an HP 1022nw LaserJet here at home so all of our four home computers can print wirelessly. Since our upgrade to Windows Vista, the printing experience wasn’t the same since the driver was meant for Windows XP. I asked an HP technical support representative about plans for supporting Vista, but from what he knew, it didn’t seem like they had any. Thankfully, I stumbled upon their beta driver website.
HP has a page for its LaserJet beta drivers: http://www.hp.com/pond/ljbeta/ and it features 32-bit and 64-bit drivers of many LaserJet printer models.
Here’s a few of the drivers for the 1018, 1020, 1022 (1022n, 1022nw) series.
NOTE: These drivers are called beta for a reason. Download and install them at your own risk.
